I don't know about 'history' but I have one that has blacktipped this winter; the only tree in my yard to do so. However I have two others that have no problems.

the sunkist I got from you and that Luc grafted looks like it has black tip. no flowers this year. Sigh.

I know.... I am bummed too. Having said that it's the first time it has blacktipped for me.
