What is the best ferterlizer to use? I am new to Plumeria's. Also is it common to have ants? Last season. My 2 plants were covered in ants and I did not have any blooms.

Any balanced slow release fertilizer should do. I use osmocote in spring and no more rest of the year.

Ants--- I use Bayer's mixed with water, couple of times at a week interval. Ants often come back. May try moving pots a few inches, every few days. I noticed they are ore common in pots that do not get moved around.
There are several other products for ants, can not remember.
